We have three unique spaces available for hire, each with its own charm. The Stackyard is a charming and open-plan space, ideal for creative workshops or relaxed gatherings. The Hitching Room is cosy and private, perfect for small meetings or intimate dinners. And for something bigger, there’s The Threshing Barn – our original 1720s space with wow-factor for parties, presentations or guest speakers. You’ll also have access to 25 acres of grounds immediately around the venue, but we can also facilitate activities which use the wider 635-acre Estate, including our ancient Deer Park – perfect for outdoor workshops, team-building or a breath of fresh air between sessions.
Once a storage yard for hay and straw, The Stackyard is now a versatile event space featuring a bar, kitchen, and generous space both inside and out. The outdoor yard soaks up the sunshine all day, set against the rustic backdrop of our old Dutch Barns. It’s the perfect spot for birthdays, baby namings, team days, corporate get-togethers, or anything in between.
The Threshing Barn is the heart of Donington Park Farmhouse – a striking, authentic wheat barn dating back to the 1720s. Originally used for the threshing process, where grain was separated from the chaff, this age-old tradition is what gives the barn its name.
Today, it’s our much-loved event space, perfect for large gatherings. With its exposed brickwork, soaring beams, and plenty of rustic charm, it’s full of atmosphere from start to finish. The barn is equipped with an integrated sound system for music, or, if you prefer, there’s plenty of room to bring in a live band or singer to get the celebrations started.
Nestled within the Barn complex, The Hitching Room is filled with soft, natural light and full of charm. With its exposed brickwork, original features, and cosy feel, it’s a unique and characterful space, ideal for smaller gatherings.
With 25 acres of woodland and fields immediately surrounding the venue – and a wider 635-acre Estate that includes a 250-acre wild Deer Park – there’s plenty of space to make the day your own. From guided walks through the Deer Park to outdoor workshops, team-building activities, and creative sessions in the fresh air, the grounds provide a peaceful, open setting for all kinds of events.
